Brendan Taylor, Special Counsel

For over 20 years, Brendan has practiced in commercial litigation and employment law.

During that time Brendan has advised across a wide variety of industry sectors, including building and construction, technology, engineering, automotive, mining services, local government, aboriginal corporations, security, labour hire, financial services, manufacturing and property.

Some recent matters include:

• acted for a mining services company in defending restraint of trade litigation;
• acted for a commercial tenant in a dispute with a landlord;
• acted for a builder in a dispute with an owner;
• acted for an Aboriginal corporation managing misconduct allegations against a CEO;
• acted for manufacturing company defending allegations of underpayment of employee entitlements;
• acted for engineering company defending allegations that various contractors were employees;
• acted for a farming and tourism group defending prosecution for underpayment of wages.

Brendan is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
